Saturday October 10 was the big event with Dan Keding telling a variety of great stories and playing his guitar  It was a cool night of 55 degrees & winding getting down to about 32 degrees. The winds did die down as the sun went down, and we had some 60 cars out of the 89 registered, with some 200 guests. Our 35 volunteers and two staff members brought the total attending to 237. The event was financed by the FOVB, and the donations helped us break even. The evening began with guided tours into the Bog. Then guests were dared to venture onto our Haunted Nature Trail, and at the same time Bernadette Haase and her daughter, Sharon Loris worked with children on the crafts. At dark the Ghost Stories came out to haunt everyone...
