Two Artisan's Wares for Sale in the Tamarack Shop

For sale in the Tamarack Shop are the wares of two McHenry County artisans which deserve to be brought to your attention.  The first is silversmith Paul DeMuth's necklaces, rings, and bracelets.  Paul respectfully collects nuts, catkins, leaves, and acorns in season and treats them in a unique casting process developed and patented by him.  This process preserves for all time the subtle splendor of nature within each piece of fine silver.  His special pre-casting treatment enables Paul to capture nature's detail in the "lost wax" method of casting, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike.  They are truly heirloom pieces to be handed down through generations.

The second artisan is Dan Wilson.  Soon customers will be able to purchase Peterson bluebird houses and platform bird feeders hand-crafted by Dan.  They will be made of cedar to last for years.  Since they will come pre-fitted with conduits and rebar’s for mounting as free standing feeders and houses, no extra posts or hardware will need to be purchased in order to start using them.
