Trip to Pinhook Bog 2009

There was a very good attendance for the tour of the Pinhook Bog in Indiana on July 26. Some of the 16 participantes camped, some roughed it in motels, and others made it a one day drive to and from. Attending the tour we had Mike & Stacy Iwanicki, Joel & Dorothy Orlinsky, Billie & Stan Kocal, Celal Aslan, Nancy Bodinet, Andy Ferraro, Nancy Little, Pat O’Neill, Jane Richards, Steve Savocchi, Ted Sowa, Trisha Steele, & Myra Owczaszak. They saw many plants there, that we don’t see at Volo Bog, such as Button Bush, Lizard’s-tail, Sundews, and Pickerelweed. It was a beautiful day, and their guide, Christine, showed them an educationally good time. For more information on Pinhook Bog go to related websites and click on Indiana, Pinhook Bog.
