In 2005 & 2006 Volo Bog had eight prairie gardeners, including Garden coordinator, BobVetter.  In 2007 Bob was asked to share his time as coordinator for the newly formed Native Plant Gardeners of Moraine Hills  State Park. He asked Ann Shanks, a master gardener, to transfer over to the State Park, and help work with the new gardeners. Stacy Iwanicki, the Volunteer Program Coordinator and Naturalist for both sites helped recruit four additional gardeners : Chris Brenner,  Rose Carpenter, Carol Shaffer, & Marcia England. Thus bringing the number up to twelve for Volo Bog.

In 2008  Fred Schultz had to drop out with back problems, however, we gain four new gardeners: Bob Burke, Barb Fotland ,  Nancy Bodinet,  & Larry Fandrei.

In 2009 we lost two  five-year experienced gardeners Clarence Haase  & Alice Stroeberl plus Larry Fandrei, but we replaced them with four new gardeners Corinna Anderson, Earl Ball,  Harold Woodward, & Skip Fotland.

In 2010 we have a record number of gardeners, losing six: Chris Brenner, Carol Shaffer, Ana Fedorenko, Bernie Haase, her daughter Sharon Loris, and Earl Ball, but gaining 13: Mary Lee & Len Becker, Julia & Nina Denne, Karen Dietrich, Kim Flynn, Debra Hillstrand, Linda Kantor,  Lee Woodward, Geddy Fotland, Robert & Angie Louis, and Dotty Hoepner.

In 2011 we lost the following gardeners  the three members of the Fotland family due to illness in the family, Chris Bordis, who transferred over to the Moraine Hills Native Plant Gardeners;Lee & his Father Harold Woodward, who died last Fall; Mary Lee & Len Becker; Dotty Hoepner; & Kim Flynn. However we added to our roster  Patricia Vassos, who transferred from the Moraine hills Native Plant Gardeners: John Banuffi; Michael Furst; Marilyn Palmer; Jack Price, Valerie LeClaire;

Newly Weds, Will & Rachel Pilipauskas; and last but not least Mary Latham and family.
