Eagle Scout Projects
Volo Bog and Moraine Hills State Park have been receiving the benefits of Eagle Scout Projects for many years now. After receiving approval from the site superintendent, Eagle Scouts have furnisehd not only the labor with fellow boys scouts and their fathers, but most of the materials as well.
The most recent project occurred on Feb 28th, 2015. Eagle Scout Cody added self built Bluebird houses to the many already existing houses made by our own Volunteer Veteran Conservation Corp. Cody and his fellow Scouts from Ingleside, joined VVCC members Steve Domski, Mike Majer, & John Fairgrieve in replacing Old weather beaten bird houses in the fields at Volo Bog and Moraine Hills State Park.
Below are pictures of various projects the Eagle Scouts have proudly done. Our heartfelt thanks for their enormous and kind efforts!
