New Observation Blind Gets Professional Finish

Our brand-new observation blind, completed in November 2024, has received a beautiful protective stain treatment thanks to Deck Medic. The rich, darker tone not only enhances the blind's natural wood appearance but also provides essential protection against the elements and ensures that the blind remains beautiful and functional for years to come. What's Next?

Later this year, this observation blind will be complete with a custom interpretive panel designed specifically for the marsh ecosystem visible from this location. The panel will help visitors identify the plants, birds, and wildlife that call Marsh Moat home, making your visit both educational and inspiring. Friends of Volo Bog will also be sponsoring this interactive panel.
